The Hotel

Welcome to the personal and familyowned Hotel Concordia in the centre of Lund!

The hotel offers high hotel comfort in a quiet area in the 1000 year old & very charming part of the city of Lund. The hotel was established in 1982 in this unique cultural building from 1882, by the current owners.

We ONLY buy electricity from fossil-free energy sources, hydropower & wind power and solar energy. In 2019, we invested in our own solar energy plant on the hotel's roof, which reduces our environmental impact by about 5-6 tonnes of CO2 / year and produces about 13-15 MWh / year.

Tradition and quality

Every year we renew and improve the quality wherever it´s needed. As our guest you will stay comfortably in a modern, centrally located cultural building, originally built in 1882. We are an independet hotel (no chain) and a member of the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association, Visita.

Historical building & area

The historical hotelbuilding is located on a quiet street in Lund, a city that dates all the way back to the 11th century! Here you can feel and experience the typical "lundian" atmosphere. Also, you have all the restaurants, cinemas and cultural activities just around the corner. Lund´s attractive shoppingstreets, located only 100 meters from the hotel, offers excellent shopping for all ages.

Personal designed guest rooms

We offer 60 personal designed guest rooms, with high quality furnitures and equipment. The guest rooms have all the modern accessories such as 32 " flat screen-tv offering many high quality tv-channels, Chromecast in all rooms, Aircondition in many rooms, safetybox, coffee & tea maker in room, pillow menu, iron & ironboard, hairdryer, etc. In all guest rooms and the public areas throughout the hotel smoking is prohibited.

Eco-labelled hotel

We always try to protect the environment within our organisation and the hotel is eco-labelled since 2005. The eco-label is called "The Nordic Swan" and it is the official Nordic eco-label, introduced by the Nordic Council of Ministers.

Security always comes first!

When it comes to security measures we have a modern first class fire protection system installed at the hotel and also 24 h surveillance recording cameras in the public areas. Our security systems at the hotel, the firesystem and some cameras, are connected to the security center in Sweden, SOS Alarm. Between 10 pm -06 am, when the hotel is unmanned, Securitas guards are doing security checks throughout the hotel.

Free Internet for our guests

The hotel provides a free, high-speed and wireless Internet system. The system is called Concordia Wireless and has full coverage throughout the hotelbuilding. At Hotel Concordia you will always have free, easy and high-speed access to the Internet!

The reception

In the reception area you will always receive personal service when staying at Hotel Concordia. After a good night sleep in our comfortable beds you can enjoy our diversified and popular breakfast, with numerous ecological products. The opening hours of the reception

Conference rooms

If you need meeting rooms in central Lund, we offer you 2 excellent & modern conference rooms with a max. capacity of 40 in school seating and 50 in cinema seating. You can find more information about our conference rooms and offers here.

Relax area with a sauna

For a small fee you have access to the popular relax area at the hotel, that includes a sauna with a spectacular view over the rooftops down to the park. After enjoying the sauna you can relax in a comfortable chair and watch TV or listening to music. You book the relax area at the hotel reception.

The roof terrace

The roof terrace is named after the famous astronomer "Tycho Brahe" (his mother owned the whole area around the hotel back in 1500´s). Here you´ll find comfortably lounge furnitures and sunbed. This terrace is a wonderful sunny spot, with a panorama view over the roof tops down towards Lunds Stadspark.
