Hotel Concordia | The personal and modern four star hotel in the centre of Lund, Sweden

Hotel Concordia is a 4-star, family owned, hotel in the absolute centre of the old & charming part of Lund. The hotel was established in 1982 by the current owners. The hotel was completely renovated in 2000 and partly in 2007. As our guest you will stay comfortably in a modern, centrally located cultural building, originally built in 1882. We are an independet hotel (no chain) and a member of the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association (SHR).

We have now opened the brand new roof terrace "Tycho Brahe", named after the famous astronomer and who´s mother Beata Bille owned this area during the 1500´s. From here you have a spectacular view over the roof tops, down towards the park, "Lunds Stadspark". Just relax in the lounge furnitures and see the stars at night by using the telescope on the terrace. Free access for our guests! Welcome!

The historical hotelbuilding is located on a quiet street in Lund, a city that dates all the way back to the 11th century! Here you can feel and experience the typical "lundian" atmosphere. Also, you have all the restaurants, cinemas and cultural activities just around the corner. Lund´s attractive shoppingstreets, located only 100 meters from the hotel, offers excellent shopping for all ages.

We offer 62 personal designed guest rooms (27 double- and 35 singlerooms), with high quality furnitures and equipment. The guest rooms have all the modern accessories such as 27 " flat screen-tv offering 19 tv-channels, DVD-player (30 rooms), safetybox, minibar, coffee & tea maker in room, pillow menu, iron & ironboard, hairdryer, etc. In all guest rooms and the public areas throughout the hotel smoking is prohibited.

The reception area is open 24 h and you will always receive personal service when staying at Hotel Concordia. After a good night sleep in our comfortable beds you can enjoy our diversified and popular breakfast, with numerous ecological products.

In March 2011 our new & modern hotelgym opened. The gym with crosstrainer, training bike, rowing machine and free weights are available free of charge for our guests. See a picture of the gym here.

As our guest you have free access to the popular relax area at the hotel, that includes a sauna with a spectacular view over the rooftops down to the park. After enjoying the sauna you can relax in a comfortable chair and watch TV or listening to music. The reception area is open 24 h and you will always receive personal service when staying at Hotel Concordia.

In Jan 2012 the roof teracce opened, named after the famous astronomer "Tycho Brahe" (his mother owned the whole area around the hotel back in 1500´s). Here you´ll find comfortably lounge furnitures and sunbed. This teracce is a wonderful sunny spot, with a panoram view over the roof tops down towards Lunds Stadspark.

We always try to protect the environment within our organisation and the hotel is eco-labelled since 2005. The eco-label is called "The Swan" and it is the official Nordic eco-label, introduced by the Nordic Council of Ministers. More information about the eco-label here: "The Swan".

When it comes to security measures we have a modern first class fire protection system installed at the hotel and also surveillance recording cameras in the public areas. Our security systems at the hotel, both the firesystem and the cameras, are connected to the security center in Sweden, SOS Alarm.

The hotel provides a free, high-speed (up to 100 Mbit/s) and wireless Internet system. The system is called Concordia Wireless and has full coverage throughout the hotelbuilding. In the private businesscenter, that is opened 24h/day, you can use Internet and print your work. Also, in the lobby area there are 2 guest computers, connected to the Internet 24 h/day.
