A large extension and a very cautious renovation of this traditional cultural building was made year 2000 and the capacity was increased by 15 new charming rooms. These rooms are personally designed with parquet floor; pleasant, warm colours and tiled bathrooms. To be able to maintain a high standard in our guest rooms, we are continously renovating and updating our guest rooms every year (investing in new techniques, art, furnitures, etc). Non-smoking guest rooms: We offer 63 non-smoking rooms. We don´t offer any smoking rooms. All smoking is prohibited within all hotel public areas. Smoking area is outside at the hotel entrance. We offer 4(!) Internet connections at Hotel Concordia One of our top goals has always been to be in front when it comes to the technical development. We were one of the first hotels in Sweden with our own website, and one of the first places where the wireless internet system, Telia Homerun, was installed. However, we no longer have this system installed at the hotel. We have proceed to the next level in the rapid technical development and we are offering you free access to the high-speed wireless internet system, available in the entire hotel building. During your entire stay with us you will connect to the internet for free. The system is called "Concordia Wireless". The only thing you will need, to be able to use this Internet system, is a laptop with a LAN-card, a username and a password. You receive the username and the password in our reception. If you need a Lan-card, you can lend one at the receptiondesk. We also have a very popular business centre, where all our guest have been able to use the internet for free with a high-speed connection since the year of 2000. As our guest, you can work with Office-programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. You can also print your work with a colour printer in this business center. Since all of our guests make a time-reservation to use the business centre, you can work without interruption during the session you have booked. The reservation is valid for 30 min/session, this to increase the availability for all our guests. For those of you who don't want to or cannot use the 2 described internet systems above, you have a third opportunity of accessing the web in your room. This is charged in the same way as if you are making a phone call; about 1.5 SEK/minut. In the lobby there are 2 guest-computers, always connected to the internet, free of use 24 h. Please contact our staff in the reception for any questions regarding the internet systems that we offer you at Hotel Concordia in Lund. We always try our best to meet your demands, concerning the type of room you desire. As an example, you might have a request to stay in a specific floor, a large King size bed (grand lit) or 2 separate ones, bathtub or shower, air conditioning and if you wish to stay in the "old" part of the hotel where everything is newly renovated or in the charming newly built part of the hotel. Maybe you want a DVD -player and a 27" LCD -TV in your guest room. Please state all your requests when making your reservation, so that we have the possibility to fulfil your requirements. As you can see, there are a lot of alternatives to choose from and we hope that we will meet your every demand possible.
